U.S. and Yemen

This is breaking news, and early reports are sketchy but according to Fox News it appears the Obama Administration approved missile launches to attack Al-Qaida camps in the gulf state of Yemen, in a civil war, which more information can be found at War News Updates which is an excellent website.

It appears that Obama is trying to show his tough stance against terrorism, right after her was given his Nobel Peace Prize. I'm not quite sure what to think of this action, if early reports are true because this could raise a ton of controversy in a nation that doesn't have a favorable opinion of The West and where terrorists attacked the USS Cole. I fear this is almost a "Bill Clinton" move, launch a couple of missiles but not really solve the issue at hand, and cause some controversy in the process. If Obama wants to be serious about the War on Terror, give General McChrystal the troops he requested, don't have a timetable of withdrawal publicized, and find the terrorists hiding in caves on the Afghanistan/Pakistan boarder.

Again, this report is just breaking as of 8:15 pm on December 18, 2009, so details on this incident is surely to change in the next few days, and could alter this report.

Obama Bows & Pirates are blasted off of the Bow.

As Obama finishes his first tour in Asia, as President. Here are the two stories that have received some coverage, but they should have received much more. While in Japan, Obama clearly bows down to the Emperor of Japan Akihito. This is the second time Obama has bowed to a member of a royal family, the first being the Saudi King. As other news sources have mentioned, former US leaders never bowed to the Emperor or Saudi Arabia, so why is he doing it? Not to many people can probably answer that question, but it clearly shows the United States in a weak position, and it goes against everything our founding fathers fought for us in the 1700s. They fought British tyranny, and the monarchy to create a government where everyone is equal, and not one person was "higher" or "royal" or more power. With Obama bowing, he is clearly acknowledging royalty, and status in society. There are obviously bigger issues on our plate that we have to deal with, but this personally bothers me, and something is not right here, especially since this is not the first time. So President Obama, why do you bow?

Shifting gears from Asia and heading west to the African Coast off of Somalia. As one of the first stories I wrote about on my blog, has once again arrived in the spotlight. Several months ago, Pirates attempted to hijack an American vessel called the Maersk Alabama. While they never completely gained control of the ship, and the crew was able to capture a pirate, the 3 remaining pirates held the Captain hostage on the ships lifeboat at sea. South Park would create an episode regarding the incident and pirates.

Well this week, Pirates tried again to hijack the Alabama, and this time they failed miserably. The Alabama was a few steps ahead this time, as they had private security on board. While they are keeping quite on the tactics they used, guns and LRADSs have been reported to be used as the pirates quickly retreated. Something tells me the pirates were blown out of the water, as they should be. No injuries were reported on the Alabama. Last time the ship was attacked, I personally felt ships should arm themselves with guns, and use other tactics to stop piracy. With this latest event, it seems to be working, and will be interesting if more ships follow suit.

Fox News is doing a special report on 21st Century Piracy this Saturday, November 21.

Elections in '09: The Impact They Could Have

It's November, and that means it is time to head out to the polls and vote. Most of them are local elections, some are mayoral, but there are 3 races the nation or national news seem to be focusing their attention on. In a few hours, people in New Jersey and Virginia will vote for their next Governor, and people in the 23rd district of New York will vote for their representative in a special election.

While this year certainly is not as big of an election year as compared to 2008 or 2010. Some have claimed, such as Sebastian Smith of the AFP, in an article claiming these elections are a referendum on Barack Obama's presidency in the last year. I do agree that these three elections can show how people view the Obama Presidency, but I think it is a better example of a "litmus test" of what we can see in the 2010 elections.

Mr. Smith also claims that the "democrats [are] scrambling to starve off embarrassing defeats." I don't think they are "scrambling", but they do have reasons to be concerned. In 1993, one year after President Clinton defeated George H.W. Bush, it seemed as if the "Reagan Revolution" was on life support. New Jersey and Virginia would both go to republican candidates in their gubernatorial elections. A year later republicans would take control of both houses of congress by winning 62 seats in the House and Senate. However, in 2001, both gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia would go democratic and the GOP would gain seats in 2002, which they would have a majority in the House and Senate. A repeat of '94 in 2010 may not happen, but it is certainly a possibility because of the circumstances in these '09 elections.

Historically, Virginia has been a conservative state but has turned at least "purple" if not blue in the last decade. In recent polls, republican candidate Bob McDonnell leads double digits over the democratic candidate Creigh Deeds. Real Clear Politics has this race +13 points for McDonnell. President Obama won this state by 6 percentage points over McCain. It seems that the GOP will win this race, regaining a state that they have recently lost.

In New Jersey, the gubernatorial race is much closer and is essentially a "toss up." New Jersey, which in recent history has been very democratic, has not voted for a republican presidential candidate since George HW Bush in 1988. Chris Christie the republican candidate is challenging incumbent democrat Governor Jon Corzine. According to Real Clear Politics, Christie leads Corzine by 1 point. In a state that President Obama won by 16% percentage points, which he has been campaigning for Corzine in the last few days, shows a possible shift of political affiliation from democrats to republicans in a liberal state.

The last race, which is arguably the craziest of all three, is the 23rd district of New York. In a special election to fill a vacant seat in Congress, the Republican Party chose moderate candidate Dede Scozzafava while the Democratic Party chose Bill Owens. Historically, a republican has held this seat in Congress since the Civil War. However, President Obama did beat McCain in this district in 2008. Unhappy with some of the viewpoints of Scozzafava, Doug Hoffman decided to run as a Conservative in a district where he is not a resident. (Note: It is legal to run in any district of the state you live in.) A self proclaimed "9/12er", a group created by conservative Glenn Beck, which members are mostly on the right side of the political spectrum, who fear they are losing their rights from the Government since September 11, 2001. Hoffman is clearly on the far right, as seen in the previous link such as his opinion of the bailouts, stimulus package, healthcare, etc.

Over the last couple of weeks, the candidates were somewhat tied, however recently Ms. Scozzafava would drop into 3rd place. Over the weekend, Ms. Scozzafava would quit her campaign and endorse democratic candidate Bill Owens. This suddenly becoming a two-candidate race. New polls (since Ms. Scozzafava ended her campaign) have Hoffman in a 17 point lead, and have Owens in a slight lead. The winner of this election certainly will not be know until late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning. Even though this race is probably the least noticed of the 3, it could have the biggest impact. If the democrats win, they could use the historical impact of this election, to promote their ideas and strengthen their party. If the Conservative wins, who essentially overthrew the Republican, it could create a "Civil War" in the Republican Party as Robert George mentions on whether their future candidates should be conservative such as Mr. Hoffman, or more moderate such as John McCain.

All 3 elections could be a "litmus test" on President Obama's job approval in his first year of the Presidency and be a sneak peak for elections in 2010. If the GOP wins all three races (assuming Hoffman joins the Republican Party), this will probably show that they will win elections in 2010 and possibly a majority in Congress. If the Democrats win 2 out of the three (assuming and very likely that Virginia is a guaranteed victory for the GOP) they will certainly maintain a healthy majority in Congress after 2010. I could be wrong, and whatever happens on Tuesday could very well be the exact opposite in 2010 elections.

I am almost certain though that if the GOP does not make a choice on what principles will guide them, and the political "fighting" that happens between moderates and conservatives on whether they should be "the big tent party" trying to gain moderate democrats and independents along with conservatives. Compared to the "small tent party" which would be a party mainly for conservatives and some moderates. At first it seems the big tent theory is the better option, but according to Gallup, conservatives are the largest political group, moderates second, and liberal in third. Whichever plan the party goes with, they need stop being "the opposition" to anything President Obama tries to do, and actually create their own agenda, or they will lose many elections in the future.

In the Dollar "We Don't" Trust

On Friday, Larry Kudlow wrote an article discussing the US Dollar. In his article, he writes: "We know that gold is soaring.

And we know the dollar is slumping. But, did you know that year-to-date, while the S&P 500 is up 18 percent—a great showing no doubt—gold is up even more.

The precious metal is up 21 percent. In other words, measured in true, gold-backed purchasing power, stocks have really done nothing this year. Zip. It is most disappointing... What we’re seeing right now is pretty close to what we witnessed in the 1970s—the rise in gold and inflation really cuts into the stock market.

So what’s the way out?

Well for starters, we need a stable dollar to stop inflationary pressures. And we also need lower tax rates to spur the economy, help it grow, and reduce unemployment."

He also goes on to mention, "In addition, the Treasury ought to get out there and buy these unwanted dollars in the marketplace. Just go out there and bid for them. And they need to stop printing so much debt from Congress. All this massive spending and borrowing is killing us. We need to be slashing tax rates on large and small businesses. There’s just no better place to begin job creation."

Full Article Here

I agree with Mr. Kudlow. With gold at its highest rate ever and considering that The Federal Reserve has DOUBLED the amount of US Dollars in circulation in one year, clearly inflation is coming.

This video was aired back in January, so the amount of money in circulation now is even higher. However, the money that The Federal Reserve printed approximately one year ago is just now starting to enter the market.

Two other nations in recent history have/had major inflation. One was the Weimar Republic (Germany) after World War I. According to PBS around 1920 "Milk went from 7 Marks per liter to 16." After 1920 "The printing presses ran, and once they began to run, they were hard to stop. The price increases began to be dizzying. Menus in cafes could not be revised quickly enough. A student at Freiburg University ordered a cup of coffee at a cafe. The price on the menu was 5,000 Marks....When the 1,000-billion Mark note came out, few bothered to collect the change when they spent it. By November 1923, with one dollar equal to one trillion Marks, the breakdown was complete. The currency had lost meaning."

The Germans printed more and more money without it being backed by gold, and destroyed their own currency. The other example is Zimbabwe. I was in Southern Africa this summer, mainly in South Africa, however I was near the border with Zimbabwe. I was given a legal tender of 50 billion Zimbabwe-Dollars. You need 100 billion Zimbabwe-Dollars to buy a soda. While I was there, I was told the Zimbabwe-Dollar collapsed because of inflation (and printing money) and Zimbabwe has since abandoned the currency.

Since 1973, our currency has not been backed by gold, and since we are printing money without anything that is backing it up, we are going to have inflation, as Mr. Kudlow mentions. People are trusting gold more than the US Dollar, this is why it is over $1,000 dollars an ounce. The only way we can stop this, before we go down the same path as the Weimar Republic or Zimbabwe, is to create jobs. The way to accomplish this is to lower taxes for businesses and make it lucrative for companies to be here.

Other nations are showing concerns about the U.S. Dollar, as well, our national debt, which is about 12 Trillion Dollars. Last Tuesday, The Independent Newspaper reported "Gulf Arab Nations are planning – along with China, Russia, Japan and France – to end dollar dealings for oil, moving instead to a basket of currencies including the Japanese yen and Chinese yuan, the euro, gold and a new, unified currency planned for nations in the Gulf Co-operation Council, including Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar."

If the World thinks the dollar is no longer "the standard" when it comes to currencies, then we may have tough financial times ahead of us, and a new financial crisis, much worse than what we experienced a year ago.

If we don't stop printing more and more money, and unemployment keeps rising; prepare for massive inflation and a possibly a depression. I hope that I am wrong and that President Obama, along with the rest of our Government and The Federal Reserve, can solve these issues by creating new jobs, reducing unemployment numbers, and stopping our national debt from rising.

Senator Specter Signs The Healthcare Pledge

Senator Specter has become the first Democrat to sign Let Freedom Ring's Healthcare Pledge. He joins 117 other members of Congress that have signed the pledge. This is certainly an interesting move by Arlen Specter, showing boldness and courage to sign this pledge. Colin Hanna said, Senator Specter "has never been anyone's rubber stamp." Hopefully other democrats will now sign the pledge and actually show Americans they will READ a bill (especially one as significant as healthcare reform) before voting on it.

Congressman Sestak, said at a town hall in Philadelphia, he would sign the pledge too if the pledge did not have its second part stating that the bill be available to the American People on the internet for at least 72 hours before the bill is voted on. Congressman Lincoln Davis' (D-TN) staff said he would sign the pledge too if more democrats have signed it. Congressman Ed Towns (D-NY) told a constituent he would sign the pledge but has not at this time. Representative Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) told Megyn Kelley of Fox News in an interview that the pledge was on her desk, but she has not signed it as well.

What is really sad is, out of 535 seats in Congress, 118 have agreed to read the healthcare bill before they will vote on it. This shows how out of touch Washington is with the American People. Most simply do not understand that they work for us, WE DO NOT WORK FOR THEM, and until Congress realizes this, they will just remain out of touch with America and we will not be the Republic we have always been.

For more information on Specter signing the pledge, read Washington Times Article here.

Blue Dog Democrats Fold

July 29, 2009

Blue Dog Democrats reach a deal with Democratic leaders with regards to the Healthcare Reform Bill. The deal seems to be that they will cut 100 Billion (less than 10% of the bill) and exempt small business making less than $500,000 a year. Also part of the deal Steny Hoyer announced that the bill will not reach the house floor before the August Recess.

This bill will destroy American Healthcare as we know it. Democrats are taking the worlds best system and putting government in charge. The best metaphor can be found with this video:

Can there be simple ideas to improve our system which does have some flaws? Of course there are, and we should allow capitalism to thrive in healthcare, but we are taking the best system in the world and putting government in charge of our healthcare. This chart below is how are government will run our healthcare system:

Looks confusing doesn't it? Do you really want to go through that for healthcare?

They have a 1,000 page plus bill and NOT ONE DEMOCRAT HAS AGREED TO READING THE BILL BEFORE VOTING FOR IT. What we need to do this august recess, is go to their town halls, tell them how we really feel about this bill, flood their telephones, fax lines, mailboxes, and e-mail about why they should read this legislation (what we elected them to do) and tell them how they should vote.

This is our last chance to stop this legislation because the Blue Dogs are now on board with it. We must defeat it like how American Citizens defeated the amnesty bill under President Bush.

Pledge to Read

A conservative group, called Let Freedom Ring, from Delaware and Pennsylvania have created a pledge and sent it to every member of congress about healthcare reform.

The Pledge simply states:

I, ________________________________, pledge to my constituents and to the American people that I will not vote to enact any healthcare reform package

that:

1)   I have not read, personally, in its entirety; and,

2)   Has not been available, in its entirety, to the American people on the Internet for at least 72 hours, so that they can read it too.

________________________________

Member, United States House of Representatives

Another version with US Senator at the bottom for a signature is available too. At first the pledge started with 4 signers on their website Let Freedom Ring and the website solely dedicated to the healthcare pledge by Let Freedom Ring, PledgetoRead.com.

The Four (which are confirmed) are Senators DeMint (SC) and Inhofe (OK) and Representatives Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt, both from Kansas.

Recently the names have been pulled from the website as they announced all signatures will be released on July 20, along with a list of Senators and Representatives who have refused to sign the pledge. There are rumors (cannot be confirmed) that the minority leader in Congress, John Boehner has signed the pledge and is strongly advising fellow republicans to sign the pledge too. It is a fact too (after calling Let Freedom Ring) that pledge signers have reached double digits, which is more then the  the "half dozen" Colin Hanna stated on this interview with Fox News.

Steny Hoyer laughed when he heard about Pledge to Read according to The Politico even stating the bill would GET VERY FEW VOTES if LEGISLATORS READ THE BILL and Nancy Pelosi was confronted by a reporter asking about the pledge too.

The best moment happened today when Megyn Kelley at the end of the interview, confronted Representative Allyson Schwartz about the pledge who wouldn't say yes but "had it on her desk."

After personally calling the office of the representative, as a citizen, they would not tell me if in fact the pledge was on her desk, or even if a staff member saw the pledge.

I think everyone should go to PledgeToRead.com and download the pledge and send it to your Two Senators and Representative, also mention you're a constituent of that lawmaker and tell them why you want them to sign it. The best way is by fax, and talk to a staff member in thier office and e-mail the pledge to them.

Tell them to send a fax of the signed pledge to 1-888-462-6891 (or if you receive a signed copy send it there) so Let Freedom Ring, Inc. can see the pledge and know that particular Senator or Representative has signed the pledge.

Congress shoving two huge bills down our throats

This week on Capitol Hill, Nancy Pelosi is rushing two bills that change the United States in monumental proportions. First, early this week, and Obama's infomercial on Wednesday, was the issue of healthcare reform. This will cost of 1 trillion dollars and it will still leave over 30 million Americans uninsured according to the CBO. While Healthcare costs are enormous, and SOME reform should be needed, HOWEVER, Government needs to stay out of the industry and only give a tax credit so American's can pay for their insurance. In Canada, it takes on average over 9 hours IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM to receive treatment, meanwhile it is less than 1 hour in America. It can also take weeks if not months to see a specialist in Canada too.

Also, if you don't think Politicians want the "one pay" system practically the Canadian system or everyone being on a system like Medicaid, watch this video. Simply shocking.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The other bill which the House is voting on friday is Cap and Trade, which would be the largest tax increase in America's History. Take that "95% of Americans will not see their taxes raised, in fact expect a tax cut" an now consider it a lie, because 100% of Americans are about to see a tax increase.

In this bill, it is supposed to enabled the government to "cap" carbon emissions, but it's more than just that. A more proper name would be "Cap and Tax." This bill would cost the average family  $1,870 and would eventually rise to $6,800 for the average family. According to the Wall Street Journal.

Gas Prices, Electric Bills, would nearly double and some could even rise 90%.  According to the Glenn Beck Program, all of this, in order to offset carbon emissions that would lower the temperature by 2/10 of a degree by 2100.

Everyone needs to contact their senators, representatives, and tell your opinion on these issues. To reach them by phone, contact the Congressional switchboard at (202) 224-3121. DO NOT CONTACT via e-mail or letter, letters can take 3 weeks to even get to the office of your senator/representative, and most do not even read their e-mails. If you still want to write to your Representative and Senators do it by Fax, probably the most effective way to contact them.

The Largest Political group is....

A new Gallup Poll shows America's true political viewpoints. The Republican Party can have a lot to learn from this too. The Poll says 40% of Americans consider themselves Conservative, making them the LARGEST POLITICAL IDEOLOGICAL GROUP.

If the Republican Party nominated a true conservative, they would have the presidential elections practically won. All they would need to gain would be 1/3 of moderates which is very realistic. They need to stop trying to lean "more moderate" like nominating someone like Senator John McCAIN. I also think this is why Liberals and Democrats are scared of someone like Sarah Palin. She is someone who is conservative, and can be respected by many Americans. They see her as a threat to their own ideology and control in America, and want her defeated before she can even run in 2012.

If the GOP nominates a Conservative in 2012, they will only have to campaign for 10% of moderates, and they will be guaranteed to take the White House from President Obama.

Benedict "Arlen" Specter

This week, Senator Arlen Specter, from my home state of Pennsylvania went back to his original roots, before he was district attorney of Philadelphia, defected to the Democratic Party. Arlen has always been a moderate/liberal republican, but I lost respect for him when he voted for the "stimulus" pork bill of 2009. What really has me furious is that a few weeks ago he stated he would stay in the republican party, because he believed in the two party system and had a bigger role in the GOP.  Now the Democrats are almost guaranteed the 60 vote filibuster proof majority  once Al Franken is confirmed in Minnesota.

Arlen Specter, only did this for a one reason, to save his own political career. He was down by more than 20 points to Pat Toomey, who Specter narrowly beat by 2 points in 2004.
Pennsylvania republicans are sick of Specter, and they wanted him out of there. He may not even win the democratic primary as he all ready has at least one opponent possibly 3 (maybe Chris Matthews if he changes his mind again). Specter may find another "Scottish Law"  like he did in Bill Clinton's impeachment case where he won't be allowed to switch parties (although he legally can but cannot switch to another party if he looses a primary).

As a resident of PA, I say good riddance of Senator Specter, and I hope an honest politician, takes his place.

Tea Parties sweep across the nation

The Tax Day Tea Parties were a huge success across the nation. With thousands attending the Alamo, approximately 20,000 people at the Atlanta Tea Party, a message is "brewing" across this nation. We are sick of the government corruption, spending, and high taxes.

Just before people took to the streets, The Department of Homeland Security warned against "Right-Wing Extremism" including people who have a Ron Paul Bumper Sticker, or "Don't Tread on Me" Flag. Basically if you read the entire 10 page report Click HERE, anyone is a terrorist who is against Barack Obama or his policies.

Today was a day, saying NO to Socialism, NO to new Taxes, and time for accountability in Washington D.C. The tea parties in Texas, may have very well sent the "Don't mess with Texas" message to D.C. today. With hundreds of people flying flags of Texas, America, "Don't Tread on Me" and a new flag, which I think sums up today's parties.

The Flag of Goliad, which is meant to symbolize that "I would rather cut off my own right arm, for freedom, than to live under tyranny." Another message Texas sent to the Union was this said by Governor Rick Perry, pretty much saying Texas can declare independence if it wants to if it should ever come to that point.

Texas should stay in the union, as 75% of Texans think they should stay however I think the Governor was trying to say that every option should be on the table.

We are at a huge crossroad America. We can either accept this socialistic state we are heading towards, or we can defend our freedom, defend our rights, just like the brave men who "drew the line in the sand" at the Alamo. Today may have been the day that started the spark to get our nation back on track, to the Republic it was always meant to be.

American Ship hijacked, crew retake vessel

April 8, 2009,
Location: Near Coast of Somalia

Today for the first time since the Barbary Wars era, an American Ship, Alabama, was hijacked owned by Maersk Company but with an all American Crew.

Hours later, The Crew were able to retake the ship and were able to have one pirate in custody. The rest of the pirates are believed to be in the water, and also took the captain of the Alabama with them. 6 US Navy ships are now heading to the area where the ship was hijacked to assist the Alabama and to search for The Captain and the remaining pirates.

This incident along with others in the area only proves two things America, and the Ships must be allowed to do. We need to send troops INTO Somalia and take out these pirates and prove these thugs that if they want to enter this business, they will pay a price. The original creation of the Marines was to destroy Piracy in Northern Africa, tripoli, and the Caribbean. This actually was also the beginning of good relations with our former enemy, Great Britain, as we both had an interest in taking out the pirates. It is also in the Marines hymn, "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli."

It also proves that Ships must be allowed to arm themselves, or at least give them the option too. The US Navy cant protect the entire region (also other areas have piracy too, Philippines, parts of South America, and even some places in the Caribbean.) Right now International Law pretty much makes it impossible to carry weapons on board a ship in International Waters. It's only a matter of time before they capture a Cruise Ship. They have all ready attemped this twice with two high end ships, Crystal Cruises' Seabourn Spirit, and Oceania Cruises' Nautica. Some cruise lines have even told people to get off in Egypt, fly them to Dubai, and pick up thier passengers a few days later in Dubai.

Lets use our Air Force, and Troops, and Navy to attack these Pirate cities/ports, let the ships be able to defend themselves,  and maybe let the private industry be able to protect these ships. If we don't put a stop to Piracy, it is only going to rise because it is happening in areas where people make less than $5,000 and if you are making millions for one ship, it's only going to attract more business.

The War on our Boarder

Most people probably know The Iraq War, War in Afghanistan, and The War on Terror that America is currently fighting in, however there is one on our boarder that is receiving little attention.

There is a war going on in Mexico of the Drug Cartels against Mexico's Government. Local Government in Mexico is corrupt, they either support the cartels or they are killed. Even areas where the Drug Cartel wasn't fighting like Cancun, the violence is now there as a police officer was killed by the cartels there.

Just to giver you a perspective of the war in Mexico, over 6,000 people were killed in the last 12 months. 4,265 U.S. Soldiers have died in the entire Iraq War. If you want more proof on how the Drug War is effecting us in America, The City of Phoenix was just rated the second most dangerous city IN THE WORLD, behind Mexico City in kidnappings.

Why Kidnappings? The Drug Cartels are kidnapping Americans and Mexicans for ransom, and if it is not payed they are killed.

The impact if the Mexican Government should collapse would be huge. We could have millions and millions of people fleeing to us. The threat of this happening is very real, their two main sectors of their economy are Tourism and Oil.

Tourism is down 90% and Oil is now relatively cheap, so Mexico's economy is pretty much non-existent.

The only time this war is being mentioned is so some politicians can have their way. "Never let a good crisis go to waist."...Rahm Emmanuel, Chief of Staff for Obama.

Some Democrats in Washington want to abolish the 2nd amendment (The Right to Bear Arms) and some republicans don't want Americans to own semi-automatic rifles. So what they are doing to attack American's rights and "making up numbers" for their political gain.

Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama have all said "90% of the weapons being used by the Cartels are made/sold in America first, then sent to Mexico." This is false. It is about 17% of the weapons come from America. Most are from the Mexican Government illegally being sold to the cartels, or coming from over seas. Even some weapons from OUR OWN government were sold to Mexican Government which were given to the cartels.

Where they get that "90%" number is when guns are traced they are found to be traced back to the U.S. The reason why the other 83% are not traced by ATF and FBI is because those guns have markings on them that are not american manufactured.

Just more political nonsense to push their agenda and have rights of American's taken away. Over government is just ignoring the huge storm south us, that is quickly spreading, not stopping at our border and if we don't take action against the cartels, this war will not only be in our backyard, but in our front-yard as well.

It looks like North Korea has successfully launched their missile, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,512583,00.html
and appears Joe Biden was right. Let's see how Obama reacts to this situation and how he handles it.

Now that the technology from a North Korea is capable of possibly hitting our west coast (or from Iran to the middle of Europe) the world needs to wake up and see who were dealing with as they are not afraid to launch them to threaten democracy. We also have other issues especially in our homeland, which I will post more about that threaten are democracy as well. I am just posting this as news is breaking about my first blog.

Will Joe Biden be right? Obama to be "tested"

Remember when Joe Biden said  "Mark my words, It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did to John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator, President of the United States of America. And he's going to need help...to stand with him. Because it's not going to be apparent initially,The world is looking. We're about ; it's not going to be apparent that we're right."

Are the North Koreans going to be the one's who test them and their so called "satellite" launch? I'm curious to see what Obama actually does with this. Will he be tough with them as he claimed he would be at the G-20 summit in London? I think he's acting "tough" right now, and will do nothing, as this incident will most likely be forgotten in a few weeks.

A lot of factors could happen in this launch, it could blow up on the launch pad like the last time the Taepodong 2 Missile was tested, it could be successful for the North Koreans  and possibly land near Hawaii or Alaska. While I personally doubt this missile has a WMD on it, what about future launch's from the North Korea or Iran (who has interest in this test) will that be "the real deal?"

This is why Obama should not "follow through" on his promise to not weaponize space, and continue nuclear proliferation talks.  At the G-20 he pretty much said lets get rid of all our WMD's. If we can't really talk to Iran, Russia, North Korea, China how the heck are we going to convince them to empty out their arsenal? We also have an unstable Pakistan with them as well. I hope the day never happens but if we are attacked by a WMD from a nation, not a terrorist attack, how will we respond?

This is why Obama must continue on the Missile Defense System ("Stars Wars" defense) initially started by President Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was right on this issue, lets not try to ban WMD's, lets shoot them out of the sky.

So is North Korea's test, a test on our president, and our foreign policy, and to see if they can finally have a missile that can carry out a WMD attack against South Korea, Japan, Hawaii/Alaska or will Iran use it against Israel?

Either way, this is a test, and maybe Joe Biden was right.
